Sleeper Report: Bargains
Michael Cuddyer – 1B/2B/OF
Cuddyer seems to be a sleeper every year because he gets little respect, but with his move to Colorado, Cuddyer is a very big sleeper in 2012.
The move to Colorado should give his numbers the needed bump to put him in the .280, 40 double, 5 triple, 25 home run range, but his draft status won’t likely show that. In addition to his move to Colorado, and maybe more importantly, Cuddyer will qualify at second base along with outfield and first base giving him increased value.
In the end, Cuddyer should fall to somewhere around the 10th round or slightly beyond in the 2012 fantasy baseball draft, so targeting him in the late 9th to 10th rounds should secure this fantasy bargain for you.
