Eric Hosmer – 1B – Royals
A terrible sophomore slump saw the big prospect’s batting average fall to a lowly .232 batting average while he hit just 14 home runs, but in 2014 he rebounded with his best overall season. Hosmer finished with a .312 batting average, 17 home runs, 11 stolen bases, 79 RBI’s and 86 runs.
At 25, Hosmer has nothing but upside and he is worth a bit of a gamble. This could be the year Hosmer becomes a top fantasy first basemen and you won’t have to draft him in the top rounds.
